Gazebo Advice & FAQs
Everything You Need for a Perfect Event
What is a gazebo/mini marquee?
A gazebo is essentially a marquee without sidewalls and provides an open and airy event space. What sets us apart from the hundreds of “traditional” marquee companies is simple – our expertise comes from hands-on experience. We use high-quality, commercial-grade pop-up gazebos that don’t require time-consuming assembly. In fact, we can set up a 3×3 gazebo in under a minute!
We offer 10 different sizes, all manufactured by a leading UK-based company. These modular designs allow for flexible setups in a range of shapes and sizes, ensuring the perfect fit for any event. If you’re unsure which size or style is right for you, our experts can help you choose the perfect setup.
Our gazebos and mini marquees are supplied by the only UK company offering wind rating charts, ensuring commercial-quality structures that stand out as the leading industry brand. With over 100 gazebos in stock and a wide range of accessories available, we have everything you need to create a stylish, weatherproof and comfortable event.
Who are gazebos/mini marquees suitable for?
Our gazebos are trusted by households, event planners, festivals and corporate clients across South East England. Whether you’re hosting a garden party, running a market stall, or showcasing your brand at an exhibition, we provide expert advice to ensure you get the right structure for the job.
How much does it cost to hire a gazebo/mini marquee?
The cost of hiring a gazebo or mini marquee will vary depending on your unique requirements. View our sizing and pricing options here or contact us for a FREE no-obligation quote!
How does modular sizing work?
All our structures come from the same manufacturer so can be linked in endless sizes and configurations. We have gutter, clamps, and in-fil panels available to ensure that they maintain their water tightness and flow when connected. For example: connecting 2x 6×3’s next to each other and you have a 6×6 or end to end you have a 12×3. Connect a 3×4.5 to a 3×3 and you have a 3×7.5m –the possibilities are endless. We take pride in the flexibility of our structures, which can be used for everything from bars and security checkpoints to medical tents. Need to cover your garden, patio, or decking? Our structures provide the perfect weatherproof solution for any space.

Things To Consider For Your Hire
On grass or hard standing such as patio or decking?
On grass, we will strap and stake the gazebo or mini marquee down. Hard standing, legally you need to hire 2x13kg weights per leg to secure in windy conditions.
Do I need a site survey for gazebo or mini marquee hire?
In most cases, a site survey isn’t necessary! Using our experience combined with tools such as Google Earth, customer photos and a simple tape measure, we can usually determine the perfect setup without a site visit.
That said, if you’d feel more comfortable with a site survey, I’m happy to arrange one for £40-£100 depending on location and time spent on the visit – the same rate charged by my competitors. For larger events at venues outside your home, a site visit may be essential to ensure everything runs smoothly. Just let me know what works best for you!
How does the hiring process work?
Browse our website and fill out our contact form. We will take your details of your event and provide you with a quote going forward.
Do you offer extras?
Absolutely! We offer a range of extras to enhance your event including lighting, heating, tables, chairs, music systems, disco lights, flooring, bar, drinks chillers, chill-out furniture and more! The possibilities are endless. We are always looking to increase our stock so if there’s something you have in mind for your event that you can’t see on our Extras page just ask! Can I attach a gazebo or mini marquee to my house?
Yes – in most cases, we can position a gazebo or mini marquee right up against your home, which is particularly popular with the rise of bi-fold doors. Thanks to telescopic legs, our structures can be adjusted between 180cm and 220cm in height, making them a great fit for most properties (bi-fold doors are typically around 210cm).
A few things to keep in mind:
- Obstacles like boiler flues, hanging baskets, or wall lights may impact the placement.
- Riser blocks are available if you need more height, but if you’re using sidewalls, this may leave a small gap at the bottom. This is fine for summer, but less ideal in colder months.
- As a temporary, freestanding structure, creating a completely watertight seal against your house can be tricky.
If you’re unsure if it will work for your space, give us a call, and our expert team will talk through the best options for your setup!
