Our riggers are trained by the best in the world, over in South Africa. Safety is our number one priority, and we’re passionate about passing that knowledge on.

A local glamping site and wellness retreat contacted us in early summer 2024 looking to purchase a stretch tent.

The brief: The client wanted a tent to provide a dedicated area for hosting wellness retreat activities. This included yoga sessions, fitness camps, weddings, parties, and other related events.

The brief also included the client’s wish to extend the tent as the business grew, the option to add side walls, and the potential for the tent to remain in place year-round.

Aftercare: When relocating the tent for the harsher winter months, we advised on the necessary accessories required — such as side base plates to prevent the poles from sinking. We also recommended extra storm bracing, with sides lowered toward the prevailing winds as the preferred setup.

The solution: We briefed the client on all standard tent sizes, rigging options, and setup styles. The customer opted for a 10 x 10.5m tent, which was delivered, collected, and fully set up within three days of ordering.

Ongoing customer service: When the client decided to keep the tent up over the winter, we recommended several extra precautions. These included the use of steel base plates for the side poles to prevent sinking into wet ground, additional storm bracing, and the potential installation of side walls.
