Stretch tent Purchase: The process

Firstly you need to decide if you need an off the shelf standard sized tent or a custom fit bespoke stretch tent.

Purchasing a stretch tent in the UK doesn’t have to be complicated. We’ve streamlined the process with flexible purchase and long-term hire options, guiding you through each step with ease. Whether you own a family-run pub, a hotel, or a woodland wedding venue, we’ll provide the perfect solution tailored to your unique space.

Step-by-step process:

1.Initial enquiry: Once we receive your enquiry, our director, Brett, will personally discuss your ambitions and goals, assessing the feasibility of your plans to install a tent on your property.
2.Initial quote: After an initial ballpark quote is provided, we’ll conduct a full site survey where we’ll explore in detail the tent and rigging options that best suit your needs.
3.Design plan: We’ll create a 2D or 3D design to help you visualize the proposed covered space, bringing your vision to life before the final decision.
Final quote and approval: Once you’re happy with the design, we’ll send through an official final quote. After your approval and deposit payment, your custom-made tent will be crafted in South Africa, ready to be shipped to your venue.
4.The best bit: Your bespoke, custom-made stretch tent arrives, and our expert team will carry out the installation, ensuring everything is set up perfectly.

Here at Glorious Gazebos, we pride ourselves on maintaining a flawless reputation within our industry, we aim to give and offer the best service to our clients which is why many of our customers use us year after year for our rental tents. We forge long lasting relationships with our clients with many of our new clients coming to us from a recommendation or simple word of mouth advertising. We are always here and happy to take a call regarding any aspect of your stretch tent.

Despite the expected longevity of our stretch tents every investment needs a little care and attention from time to time. After care is paramount if you are to get the return on your investment, which is why we at glorious gazebos offer such packages from regular safety checks to the summer or winter de-rig, cleaning and storage of the tent during the off season.

Care Packages

Stretch tents are tensile structures that rely on secure anchoring and precise installation to withstand the challenges of the British weather. While some clients may prefer to carry out their own visual and physical inspections, we also offer this as a service for your convenience. Our care packages can be tailored to suit your venue’s specific needs—please see below for examples of what we offer. For the best results, we recommend getting in touch so we can create a custom package perfectly suited to your location.

Safety package
We offer monthly, quarterly and yearly inspections where we visit the tent to ensure all the ropes are correctly tensioned and checked for damage. The price and frequency depends on the size of the tent, its location and frequency of the inspection.

Rig and de-rig package
This is our most popular package as every venue is different requiring the tent in situ for different periods of time or different seasons. For example, a small village pub with a stretch tent rigged over a courtyard would usually only require the tent over the winter months to boost footfall and dining space whereas a large pub with a large garden may simply want the tent in position over the summer months to offer a shaded area for dinners and drinkers. This package often includes us taking the tent away for a seasonal clean and storage over the off season. Again, the price of this package is tailored to your requirements.

Hire back package
This is a great option for our clients, make your tent work/earn for you when not in use. Many of our managed tents are down in storage over the busy summer months so why not rent them back to us when we are short of tents. Standard size tents are best for this option but in some cases a custom tent may work. Please don’t hesitate to enquire.

Care package summary
To get the maximum return on your investment it is essential to look after and maintain your stretch tent. Traffic pollution, bird faeces, dust and dirt can all damage your tent over time, so to extend the longevity of your tent it makes sense and good business practise to keep it in good condition.
